Holy Baptism is the sacramental rite by which we are welcomed into God's family and become members of the church. It creates an indissoluble bond by which we are drawn into the mystery of God's life forever. 

 

For infants, children and adults, initiation into life as a Christian takes place through an act of the Holy Spirit and by the administration of water during a Sunday worship service, customarily during the Easter season, on the Day of Pentecost, All Saints Day, and on the Sunday marking Jesus' own baptism.
